Developed by fitness expert Lisa Shields and former pro beach volleyball player and personal trainer Mike Morrison, SweatNet was created to give fitness enthusiasts the ability to workout where they want, when they want without having to pay for multi-studio memberships or full price drop-in fees.

Over the last five years, Lisa and Mike have had the opportunity to sweat at some of the leading fitness facilities around San Diego. They launched SweatNet in 2013 to allow fitness enthusiasts like themselves access to some of the best fitness facilities at significantly discounted rates, while also introducing a new group of clients to local studios.

With a SweatNet member card, you can now go to a variety of workout activities, from a restorative yoga class to a high-intensity boxing class, SweatNet has something for everyone.

Lisa Shields

Industry background:
Lisa grew up playing competitive soccer in San Diego, and later for the UCSB women’s club team. In 2010, she joined lululemon athletica as a Community Manager, and was paid to “Sweat Once a Day” at various studios around San Diego. As a result, Lisa experienced a huge transformation both physically and mentally, and decided she had to find a way to share this gift of fitness freedom with others. Thus the concept of SweatNet was born.

Favorite way to sweat:
Lisa loves heated yoga, pilates, boxing, and running. If she’s not taking class, you’ll find her walking along Cardiff beach with her husband and newborn daughter Maddy.
